This morning at 9:05am, Whisky went to be with Oliver.
Oliver was all of a sudden, that's why it hit me so hard. Since that time, I've been mentally preparing myself for when Whiskys time came. I came home from a short vacation and saw his sores were getting worse. I made peace with myself and God and asked him for guidance. I went to a church on sunday and asked Him if this was the right time, maybe I can help him more. As I was driving home, something compelled me to lean forward and look up. There, in the wispy clouds, was a rainbow.
I'll write more as it starts to sink in more....

I had to have my beloved Maverick put to sleep yesterday, after several torturous days of asking God if it was his time. Yesterday He gave me the answer. You have my deepest sympathies.

- that sunset was my sign that Joey's little body lies cold where I laid it to rest, but that Joey's spirit has gone on to be part of something much bigger and better, to be with our Beloved Master over RB
