Good am from the s shore of Lake Ontario. It has been snowing here too for the last 2 days. We have about 18 inches on the roof, so I will be roof raking today. I absolutely hate doing that. It is all over the head work.

Then I will make egg plant parm tonight for dinner. DH has to work in the cold today. Poor guy.

Have a great day all!

Mornin....

Snow snow and more snow.....

The idiot drivers are out in full force. I mean HELLO, you can see the snow on the roads, leave yourself ample room to stop, don't accelarate hard, etc. etc.

I'm off to walmart, again, to get a pair of snowpants that fit. I got the wrong size yesterday
So I'll be heading off shortly to hit walmart, the grocery store, and then physio at 10. Prolly come home, nap a bit, then feed some snakies in the evening.

Have a good day folks.

Roof raking? Wow, you guys live in a different world.
I hope you have some nice hot chocolate to drink after you finish.

We're at about 18F this morning. Luckily, I don't have to get out in it much. I'm going to run a few errands this morning. I need a haircut and to pick up some dry cleaning. After that, I think I'll pop in and visit my parents for a while. They were out of town this weekend so I didn't get to see them. Other than that, I'll try to do some work on the laptop. I hope everybody has a great day.

its freaking cold here! We are not used to all this snow and cold! We have about 2 inches on the ground with more coming down and I have to leave for work in a bit. Luckily the road seem to be mostly fine. I'm just wondering what they will be like at 8:30 when I get off work....

I am going to take stuff with me so I can stay at a friends house if I need to since I live a good 45 minutes from work and most of them live maybe 20.
Gah this is the coldest and snowiest winter we have had in a very long time! I dont like it! at all!

Fighting for ferals in NW NJ!
I know - I called my parents to make sure they still have their Winter coats! They live in Birmingham, AL and it is CCCCOOOOOLLLLLDDDD there! Supposed to be all week - and, in fact, on Friday it's not supposed to be much warmer there than here! In the 20s and teens down there!

As to us... we're late for dropping off the loaner car and picking up ours (had it serviced). Head out soon, then stop at Walmart to pick up kitty litter and bird food. Stop at the vet on the way home and drop off stuff for the little friendly feral we brought in yesterday... finish setting up our schedule for our biz trip into NYC Thursday.

Then hopefully a nap. It's been hellish for Gary this week and today is particularly bad. Neither of us is getting much sleep.

Hope everyone has a great day! STAY WARM AND SAFE!

Not too much going on around here. It's cold here, but it's expected in central PA..it is not expected in in the south! Geez! The wind seems to have died down here quite a bit, so my walk should be better than it was yesterday; I don't mind walking in the cold, but when that wind is howling, it's just plain nasty. (Is it spring yet?)

Farleyv, eggplant parm sounds yummy for dinner. We're having rosemary chicken with sauteed asparagus and carrots.

Enjoy your Tuesday!

I am off today.
My husband is working until 3 and then we are going to London. I have to return the jacket he bought me for christmas since it ripped. Apparently no store in Canada has any left because it was a doorbuster on boxing day. Then we are going to our favourite restaurant (Milestones) since we have $75 in gift cards. Thats about enough to pay for 2 people to go there. We really only go when we have gift cards since its a lot of money to spend on a meal. I'm excited though, we haven't been there in a year...since the last time we had gift cards from Christmas.

Good morning/afternoon (whichever you consider it)
!

Well I was up bright and early this morning. My brother is shipping to Iraq in March and he was meeting up with his...group (whatever it's called, brigade?
) this morning to leave for mobilization training in Mississippi. I drove him down to Natchitoches which is about an hour and a half from here. He'll get a week of leave between Mississippi and shipping out, so I'll see him again before he leaves. It's still hard though.... This is his second deployment in five years. But this time only actually be in Iraq for about 9 months, which is much better than last times 15 months.

Have to go to work in an hour or so. Then home to cook and maybe me and Josh will hit some bars since I'm off tomorrow. Gosh I'm ready for a day off too! I've worked 13 days straight!!! I'm exhausted!

Anyway, everybody have a great Tuesday!

'ello all!

(That is me typing in a British accent
). No offense to any real Brits, of course. Every now and again I wish I had a cool accent. Today is one of those days. LOL

Man, is it spring yet? I am already tired of shovelling and we still have a good two months of snow ahead of us. I'll try to keep the whining to a minimum, but we'll see how that plays out.

Got up a splash late today and rode the ol' exercise bike for 25 minutes. Tonight I'll be trying my hand at planks, instead of the ol' crunches. I need to mix things up a little bit. I am a wild man, eh?

Work is nuts so I had better head back to the non-fun side of the PC. I hope everyone has a great rest of their day!
