Hello,
We have a 6 month old neutered male who we got 6 weeks ago.
We intorduced him slowly to our resident cat, a 4 year old timid spayed female.
They have been doing OK, she hisses at him if he gets to close or tries to play with her when she doesn't want to. But they will glady sit together, adn share the bed or sofa.
Today though he jumped right on her and started really playing rough, she was making the horrible cat screaming sound and we had to break it up.
We put him straight in his room for a few minutes and then let him out and ignored him and he went up to her and layed down, and has been laying down in various positions since.
Is this him having a bit of a teenage strop? We really hoped our female would stay the dominant of the two as we don't want him coming into her house and ruling the place.
