Samantha (my uncle's cat)

My uncle's 18 1/2 Siamese cat passed away yesterday while I was at the cat show. She was buried today.

He still has the half siamese Chloe who is 5 years old, so at least he has a cat to keep him company.

I'm sorry to hear about Samantha. She had a good long life which will hold many fond memories for you and your Uncle.

Play happily at the Bridge, Samantha....

thanks, he took her and Chloe here to North Carolina a couple of years ago (he brought the cats a few weeks ahead before coming back to stay himself). He was afraid of taking her here at first since she was already old and it was a long trip, but since he could find no one to care for his cats, he took both of them here. One of the reasons he didn't abandon her is that she was actually more faithful than any human female in his life.

Condolences to your family on losing dear Chloe
My sister's Persian lived to be almost 22yo, and after such a long time, it seems weird to visit and not have Miss Rebekah holding court over the family gatherings.
At least they are part of a bigger scheme now, and in a better place - young again and full of joy
