Dishes, dishes, dishes. Trouble with dishes is you do them one month and the next month it's time to do them again!

It used to be bi monthly, but found it was not practical!
Washing dishes. I despise washing dishes. We do have a dishwasher, but sometimes I may have to wash something in the sink. And I really hate washing dishes.
DH told me to look at it as quality time spent with him (he does help with the dishes). I told him I can think of better ways to spend quality time with him that doesn't involve dishes!

The only chore I truly HATE doing is folding clothes! aggggggggggggghh!! with 4 kids and a husband there are ALWAYS clothes to e folded! Worst chore EVER!

I feel much better now, having read this thread! Not sure what I hate doing the most, lol! It's not really that I hate any of them....I can just think of a myriad of things I'd rather be doing!
What's that? My mom was in my apartment one day years ago and swiped her finger across the TV screen and complained about how dusty it was. My reply was "Just great! Do you know how long it will take that clean spot to fill in again?"
For those who hate doing dishes, let me introduce you to the 9th Circle of Hell: I have no dishwasher, about 2 square feet of counter space (so no place to stack dirty dishes), and a single basin sink (so I can't stack dishes in there if I want to actually use it). Now that I feed my cats wet food, I end up having to wash dishes twice a day.
My chore is unique to all except, perhaps LDG, although she has a husband and no doubt he handles it for them.
Living in a travel trailer (RV), my sewage goes into a holding tank before it goes out to the septic system.
Occasionally, that holding tank needs flushed out.
For me, this requires me to run a hose from outside into my toilet with a special wand attachment on it which will thoroughly rinse all bio debris from the tank walls and flush it out to the septic system.
It's a very nasty, very bad smelling, very neccesary chore.

I'm lucky because DH and I spilt up the chore list and all the things I HATE to do he is cool with and vice versa.
The only thing that i can't stand that I still have to do is Iron my clothes. Sometimes if I am home when DH is ironing his shirts I can sneak in a pair of pants or a skirt to be ironed

Putting clean dishes away! Don't ask me why, but that's on the bottom of chores I like to do. I don't mind putting the dishes in the dishwasher or starting it.
Let me itroduce you to the 10th Circle........commercial kitchen feeding from 12 - 200 depending on the day, no commercial dishwasher, just a three basin sink where you must wash in one, rinse in one and sanitize in the last....no hand drying or stacking up while damp. At least we deliver, no plates and such except for what he and I use sometimes!
My least favourite is hanging up clothes. I can't stand it. It hurts my back bending and reaching to grab the next thing to hang up. Plus, my animals are all very curious about my closet (big walk in closet) and always want to go in there and play so I have to try not to trip over them while hanging up the clothes.

Folding Laundry!!!!! I don't mind washing it and putting it in the dryer, hell, I'll even iron my scrubs/lab coats, & dressy things with no issues, but I despise folding laundry! I HATE it! (I do it...I just greatly dislike it! I'd rather scrub toilets or clean out litter pans than fold laundry!)
I absolutely hate cleaning the oven even tho I now have a self cleaning oven. I don't use it much anyway so it stays clean for a very long time :-)))

I actually LIKE doing dishes! I sort of find it relaxing, if you can belive that.
We have a dishwasher but don't use it, I keep vases in there. I don't think I would even know how to use it, I never had one in my life so I just think it's easier to handwash the dishes, it's all I know!!

you know, i have been reading all these posts and i hate doing EVERY SINGLE ONE of them!!!dishes, washing, folding, vacumning everything!! i should not be a stay at home mom with no help!!!!ha ha. great thread!
