Name ONE house chore that you absolutely can't stand.

I know most of us (Susan excluded
) don't really like to clean. However, there is usually one chore that is at the bottom of the list.

For me it's taking out my garbage! It's probably one of the most simple things to do, but it's a PITA! I live in an apartment, so I have to cart it down the hall, down the elevator to the basement, and across the parking lot (about 1/4 of a block). The task is unappealing at the best of times, but when it's freezing out, slippery or raining, it's even worse!

So what is the ONE house hold chore that you really can't stand?

Folding Laundry!!!!! I don't mind washing it and putting it in the dryer, hell, I'll even iron my scrubs/lab coats, & dressy things with no issues, but I despise folding laundry! I HATE it! (I do it...I just greatly dislike it! I'd rather scrub toilets or clean out litter pans than fold laundry!

Ok... this is easy... ALL OF THEM

I hate them all... I was raised with a maid, and that is the one thing, besides my loved ones and the food I miss the most in Brasil.... Definitely, call me spoiled, call me whatever, but NOTHING beats having a leave in maid to cook you fresh food for breakfast, lunch and dinner, clean, wash, iron, fold your clothes... Make your bed... Well... Ahhhhh I was happy and didn't know it! Good times, good times! We even had another maid to come in for the heavy cleaning... Oh brother!
So.... There you go... Hate them all....
My dream? hint hint???? Import a maid from Brasil

Laundry..
I have to go to a laundry room, in my complex, to wash and dry my stuff.

I seriously hate that.

Cleaning outside. I just never feel like doing it even though the mess drives me nuts.

probably washing the dishes


I don't mind laundry, vacuuming, etc but hate washing the dishes - that is due to my sensitivity to the soap. Thank goodness we have a dishwasher in the house we just moved to!!

Ironing. Can't stand it. Most of my pants don't wrinkle, but my button down shirts do. I take them to the dry cleaners so that I don't have to iron them.

One thing only!? ok, ok well if it's only ONE thing, I'd have to pick........bathrooms. UGH! They get SO nasty after only a week and it absolutely grosses me out. Not so much the toilets, but the sinks..All the hair, toothpaste, and (shudder) whatever else falls into them. UGH! Just grosses me out. I clean mine on a daily basis but hubby... Not so much...

Ooooh its near impossible but I need to agree with OP - taking out the garbage. I HATE moving garbage around yuck lol. Though the person who brought up folding laundry is close to my heart too - my unfolded laundry sits for at least a couple hours before I can muster up any folding vibes.

I HATE folding and putting away the laundry too! DH and I both hate it, so if we don't do it as soon as we get the laundry in, it will sit there for ages. We have to dump it on the bed to force ourselves to do it

I hate vacuuming. I always hated loud noises since I was a baby I guess, and I just don't like the noise of the vacuum, kind of like cats hate it too.
I don't own a hair dryer because I hate the noise too. SHHHHH! I wish I had wood or tile floors so I could just sweep and mop quietly. But instead I put off vacuuming til I feel like there's more litter out of the box than in it..

You're not alone! That is my most hated job in the world. I don't mind laundry, dishes, I will even get on my hands and knees and scrub the kitchen floor. I HATE litter boxes. I would rather clean our toilets with my bare hands and a tooth brush than clean the litter boxes because I'm sorry but our poo doesn't stink as much as their's does! Does that make me a bad mommy?

(disclaimer...I DO clean the litter boxes, I just hate doing it. Did I mention I really hate it??

I hate them all equally... So... If I need to pick one... That would be the dishes JUST because it is the one that needs to be done more often...

I am awful.
I can work 14-15, 16 hours, no problem... but house chores.... ugh!
