Greetings and happy new year to you all here at TCS.
Would love opinions please:
Cats tend to "hold it" on the day the litterboxes are due a complete change and let fly as soon as new litter is down, we are used to this. The boxes are routinely scooped and kept in good order on non-change days.
Today one of the girls had a pretty big and dry looking bowel movement and we noticed a little tiny trace of blood on her anus.
She is bright-eyed, cool-eared and interested in her food and water (and is happily sticking her rear up in the air when we scritch her, the little hussy). Is it possible/likely that she had to strain a little? She drinks well and her tummy feels nice and soft.
Advice would be most gratefully received.
