I think Abbey's virus is flaring up again.

Poor girl. Her eyes are runny, she's sneezing again. I'm afraid she going to get dehydrated so I bought some canned food for her. She is acting normal though. The vet's been closed since Wednesday (no drs in the office on Thurs, Friday was new years). But I started giving her lysiene and if she isn't feeling better tomorrow I'll take her to the vet.

Lysine takes a while to work... when did you start?
As long as she is eating, acting normal, using the box, and the stuff coming out of her nose is clear, she should be fine. Continue on Lysine, feeding her, if you have a vaporizer, that is good too, to help her breath. You can also a couple times a day do a steam bath with her.
She should be able to fight it on her own.
If, however, she gets lethargic, stops eating, gets the sign of dehydration, starts sneezing green or brown stuff, then yes, time to see the vet.

Lysine did take a month or so to work for Bugsy, he has had some slight relapses, not nothing worrisome... My vet gave me some pomade for his eyes, and told me to basically watch for signs of bacterial infection, as he will have flare ups from Herpes, and I DON'T need to take him in every time.
During his flare ups (it's been a loooong time), but he does gets a bit lethargic for a day or so... not too much, but like we do with a cold...
Watch her closely...
I would call the vet before bringing her in - I try my beest to make him fight on his own... Maybe she can do it too

She's breathing fine, and I just started the lysiene on Thursday. Last year when I brought in my three sick outside kitties the vet gave me some vetropolycin ointment, I still have a bunch left, so I've been putting that in her eyes. It's awesome stuff. I'm keeping an eye on her hydration, and she's doing good. And her nose is clear, so she's okay. She was so bad when I first got her, I'm sure she can fight this off soon.

Does she have herpes? My Hannah has herpes and she's probably got a secondary virus. Most likely it's the pseudomonas virus flaring up again, so she's off to the vet early this next week.

I don't think she has herpes, when I brought her to the vet when I first found her they said it was a virus. Stupid me, I didn't think to ask what kind of virus.

Herpes is very very very common, and if she has recurrent URIs, chances are that she has it... It does respond very well to Lysine though, and your vet can test it easily for you
