Morning.

Well, I'm finally feeling somewhat human again so I am heading out to Walmart for a bit.

In other words, I'm taking my truck out to play in the snow.

LOL.

Oh, and tis cold (but not horrible) and very snowy here....Love playing in the snow.

Oh yeah Walmart is one of my favorite places to shop. One just opened almost a year ago about 5 minutes from me and believe me I do take advantage of that. I even have shopped for groceries there a couple of times when I just needed a few things. I can see the lower prices and when you can save, you have to do it.

The weather here is cold and windy... very, very, windy. I'm staying in with a good book today.

today is a raining day here so can´t go out to make some garden labour...

I´ll try to put order in some items at the desk of my study room...

in other words nothing excitement here...

It's snowing again today - expecting another 3-4 inches on top of the foot that's out there. We made waffles for breakfast (hadn't done that in years and years), and making a big pot of soup for dinner. Other than that, we might hot tub, or might play some Wii again today.

And of course get some critter snuggle time in.

...for those of us that don't want to play in the snow, it seems a good day for a book!

It's 17 degrees here now and still VERY windy. Gusts over 50mph. Horrible.

We need to make shelters for the ferals, but Gary's just in too much pain today to get out - and cold is a trigger. They seem to be OK (*phew*) so as we have to get the car in for service tomorrow, we should be able to buy everything we need then.

Probably going to follow LaRussa's lead and curl up with a good book - and of course, like Amy, include a critter.

It's Monday morning here - about 10am.

I've already done a couple of chores this morning and I'm just about to head out to the gym. Can't go to far from home at the moment because I'm waiting on a litter of kittens.

Tonight will be my 2nd night of work out of 6 days in a row.

Not too much going on tonight. The holidays are over at our house....all the interior decorations have been put away for another year. The outdoor lights, on the other hand? Well, they're kinda frozen to trees, gutters, and the like. Hopefully, we'll be able to get them taken down during the January thaw, providing we get a January thaw, that is.

And now, I'm baking some Cornish pasties for the freezer, for later on this month.

Other than that, I'm almost ready for bed. We're going to watch the Star Trek movie tonight.

And then it's back to work tomorrow!

Morning... oh wait I mean.. good evening!!

Last day of the season for the Denver Broncos... blah. Spent the afternoon at the local brewpub (Rock Bottom) downtown watching football and catching up with some bar buddies there.. a fun afternoon overall.

Now we're home and BF is on the couch 'sleeping' cos he had well, more beers than I had. Yeah he's passed out.

It's ok, it's kind of the official last day of 'the holidays' before work tomorrow so it's ok to indulge.

Me, I have no work tomorrow, since I got laid off on New Years Eve... sigh.

So tomorrow I'm taking the day off from anything of any importance. I may go shopping with my Kohls gift card, I may stay home in my PJs, I may go for a bike ride, who knows.

Anyway for today, football, then I'll ake a nice hot bath, with no chance of interruptions from BF, since, as I said, he looks to be staying on the couch for the duration.
