Or maybe Flambeau. But, at any rate, here's our newest foster kitty.

Oh...
he is beautiful, his tail is especially magnificent.

Either name would be perfect for this handsome boy.

Not Flamebeau, please no. Not meaning to offend homosexual folks, my brother is gay. (he really is) But that just sounds way gay. Gay men would shun that cat with the name of Flamebeau.

Well, "Flambe" means "Flamed," which he is (he's a "flame point"). "Flambeau" (note that there is no "e" after the "m") means "Torch," but it sounds more masculine to my ears.

My gosh what a beautiful boy. So skinny, what's his story? How came he to the shelter. Love that tail too. I love Red Boys.

He was picked up as a stray.

He may be naturally skinny; that's typical of the siamese. But I think he's underweight. He weighs about 5 pounds.

I would guess he's about 6 months old. That's about the time that "cute kittens" turn into adults and either get thrown outside out of frustration or escape outside--and I could believe he might escape; he hates being in the bathroom by himself!

He's very pretty! All of the sudden we have quite a few people looking for "pointed" cats similar to Siamese here, we adopted out the seal point we have, and of the two flame points one is spoken for & there is an application on the other! Hopefully once he's up for adoption he'll go quick.

His pupils seem to be larger than you might expect under certain circumstances, but in brighter light, they look OK. He is loving the chance to run around the house with Emily. He's a real sweetie.

Oh Mike, there he is!

So cute!!! So, his pupils look better then? And his poop, that was giardia, you said? I think Nial said he has the name of a very good and effective medicine for Giardia, much better than Metro... I don't remember the name, but I am pretty sure it was Nial.
Oh Mike you are an angel
- he is sooo sweet, I am sure he is going to find a home soon!

Flambe is enjoying being let out to play for a while. He LOVES Emily, and she loves him. They tear from one end of the house to another, in a hurry to get to their next wrestling match.

Flambe, however, has one bad habit that limits his effectiveness as an Emily hunter. He talks to himself in a fairly constant little trill, and does it each time he is about to jump on her from hiding. Ruins the surprise every time!

Trillers do have problems with stealth maneuvers.

But they sure sound cute.
