Happy Almost New Years!!

It is a little milder today which will be nice. We are getting our car back today I think...$1200 poorer.

Off to have dinner with DH's grandma tonight, and then to the casino for the New Year festivities!

Need to go to wotk today though until 4pm...

I am sooooooo drained from the holidays. Tomorrow DH are laying in bed all day..I can't wait!

Going into the shelter to try and do my end of year paperwork, I have been trying all week but adoptions has been crazy so have been helping out there

I think we are just going to have a quiet night with some drinks and a nice dinner

I've been off since Sunday...nice break! Today and tomorrow I work....and it IS work, lol! My dad wants me to teach him how to sell stuff on ebay.......oh.my.God. lol!

Well, my boss/advisor took off yesterday and said, "See you next year" so that made the decision on whether or not to go in today easy.

I've got to run grab a prescription this morning and after lunch I'll be doing some errands. I need some groceries, some cat food and litter, and I need to pick up a couple of bottles of champagne while I'm out. In between I'll try to get some work done. Nothing special planned for New Year's. I'll probably just have a friend over and we'll watch the ball drop. I probably won't even stay up for long after that. I hope everyone has a great day and a great new year.

HAPPY NEW YEARS EVE DAY! Cold here today. We're probably going out for lunch today. My brother flies home this afternoon. We'll probably try to find something to watch tonight until time for the Ball to drop, we've got our Bubbly in the fridge.

Morning.. Happy New Years Eve!

I am STILL waiting to hear from my doctor since Tuesday when i went in and they claimed I didn't have an appointment. I called the office AGAIN about 10 minutes ago and left another message. I'm so pissed off at that place right now. I don't think I'm going to go back. Which sucks cos I liked the doctor, but I can't deal with the office.

Anyway, work til about 11:30 this morning, then heading up to meet BF and some of his coworkers for lunch at a yummy Mexican place. Then I might nap a bit at home, maybe. He's working til 4 or so I think, and then we're supposed to meet some friends for dinner around 6, then make our way around downtown Long Beach, maybe check out the madness of the Red Bull car stunt thingy and then head to Seal Beach for beers and midnight champagne. Long Beach buses are free after 6PM and they're running late til 2:30AM!!

No big plans here. DH volunteered to work (hey it's overtime/holiday pay plus a paid holiday!) but he's not one for staying up to ring in any new day so should be a nice quiet night. That's what I'm hoping for at least. I have beef stroganoff in the crock pot and I just got back from picking up what we are now calling "IHOP at home" for tomorrow.

It's raining and hovering right around freezing outside but the roads were fine; but even still I'm not going out again. Had maternity pictures taken last night and that with the troubles sleeping mean I'm ready for my nap; so to the couch I go! Might do some minor work on the nursery once I can keep my eyes open a little wider!

Happy New Year's Eve!

It was supposed to snow an inch here, but by 7:00am there was already about two inches down and it was coming down fast and furious. We HAD to run out to the dry cleaner so we have suits to wear into NYC next week for work... took 3 hours to drop dry cleaning and grab a few groceries. Nothing had been plowed or salted - not even I-80, and there were accidents everywhere and it was a nightmare!

Makes me SO GLAD we hate going out to celebrate stuff.

I woke up to a couple inches of snow and thought I was dreaming. I didn't hear anything like that on the weather last night. It wasn't much so I was able to clean the car and do a few errands, the roads were not bad at all.

WoooHoooo!!! I'm not on call!!! So I don't have to put the amature drunks back together after they crash into stationary vertical objects when driving home in the morning. Yay!!!

I live a very boring life. I'll probably drink a glass of wine, watch the Red Wings lose, and be in bed by 11 pm.

Happy New Year, everybody!

We had about two inches of snow, but no real problems. Had to grab a few groceries, then hit the butcher shop for some wings...I love my wings and am getting ready to sweep a path to the grill; shoveling isn't really necessary as the snow is very light. And yes, I'm grilling my wings outside. In the snow. DH thinks I've lost my mind. But they're wings!

No big plans...we rented some movies and I've prepared some nice appetizers for us to enjoy with the wings.

Hi! It's been a few weeks since I've been active on here. Just got lazy I guess and my kittens aren't doing anything special these days. They are almost one years old. Anyway, off work now until Monday

DBF and I will have a relaxing night at home. I'm hoping I can stay up until midnight instead of falling asleep early. Happy new Year!
