Well, Fancy managed to quietly manuevor Merlin out of my lap and herself into my lap. Merlin in a fit of pique in not quite knowing how she managed to do that has taken himself to the cat shelf by the window and is gazing morosely out into the darkness.

Magic has been sleeping in the open cat carrier that I hope to use in taking him to his vet appointment tomorrow. It is reeking of catnip so it would be great if he just slept it off all of tonight so all I have to do is shut him in it tomorrow morning.

Whimsey is fast asleep under the piano bench. He occasionally wakes himself up by meowing but as soon as I tell him that he's OK, he goes right back to sleep.

What are your kitties doing tonight?

Jennie is on my lap, purring loudly and making biscuits on my leg. Mazy is curled up in the Chair on the self warming bed, with one eye on me. Tolly is curled up on his Spot on the couch, with his ears alert.

We've already had Game time and I know they are just waiting for me to turn this thing off, and lie on the couch with my book, so they can all climb aboard.

Both my girls have recently had their nighttime nummies, so they're now snuggled up in their heated beds. However, DH is in the kitchen and Hannah's eyeballing the situation to see if she can beg a handout from him!
Callie, my older cat, will soon be ready for a snack and then playtime.

Persi is draped around my mouse as usual, making it very hard to do things but since he does not want to be distured, I try to work around this. Alley is also down here in the office, just coming from the Buddah Dome, which is about twenty feet away but I sense a presence of smell that does not quite agree with me.

Be careful with the ponytail things. A kitty here in this forum just had to have surgery to have a whole bunch of those things removed from her tummy.

It's so cool to read this, every one of us has mentioned Game time with our kitties!

PS I lived in Lewisville, TV when I was a little girl. Did I tell you that already?

Thanks for the warning. I see the ones she play with, all acounted for. She also takes them to the kitchen to swat at them and those get lost under the oven or fridge. And she usually brings me the same thick one to play fetch with. I do worry that she would swallow one, but I know it would be accidental; hopefully this will never happen!

you have mentioned you lived in Lewisville. Did you grow up here? I grew up in Garland but just living here since i go to UNT.
