Well, Rags is still having problems. She has bloody urine and is straining in the box. She was having a lot of problems a while back and almost died. She had a mysterious lump that went away. I guess I'll find out what's going on tomorrow, or at least I hope so. She's been on antibiotics on and off for months. What kind of probiotics do you use and how do you do it? Do you put them in the food? I guess you have to give them separate from the antibiotics or that just kills off the probiotics, I assume. Well, I'm hoping this is stones, but if it is, I'm shocked they weren't diagnosed before. She's been to the vet so many times lately. She's had every test, including x-ray, without any definite answer to what's wrong with her. We could use some

So sorry your kitty is going through this, and you.

Urinary issues are the pitts! I have been going through this and have finally, (cross my fingers) hopefully come through. My Beeba was blocked and had to go through cathing and the whole nine yards.

Many TCS for tomorrow. Hope you finally find out what is going on.

Let us know what happens.

I had that problem with Coco.
Our only option was on to keep her on antibiotics.
Stones would have shown up in the ultrasound.
Coco had them with her first infection.
Then she was off and on antibiotics for almost 2 years until we put her on Baytril last Jan.
She has not had any bladder problems since then.
Good luck to your cat.
Coco would always get the uti back within 2 months of stopping the antibiotics.
I hope your cat does not have cancer like sherrys did.

I think the X-ray was to look at the bladder wall? And the ultra sound is to look for stones? Or the other way around? I do know that one of our males had a mysterious bladder problem that was diagnosed as interstitial cystitis - which means his bladder is irritated and they don't know why. We did x-ray and ultrasound... and the vet said if we wanted to pay for it, they could do an MRI. We did it. Nothing turned up. ...we could do a high resolution MRI with the mobile MRI van. So the next time it was at the vet, we scheduled it. For us, it turned out to be worth it, because he had a VERY small clump of crystals embedded in his bladder wall that turned up on nothing else. It was surgically removed, and his problem went away - that was it.

you're able to discover the problem and get her treated!
