PLEASE HELP... Watch out for the attack cat

Otis is now 10 weeks old. A week ago I posted about his behavior issues. Ive tried re-directing him and making sure he's not overstimulated, but it seems as if his behaviors are only getting worse and more aggressive. Today I went to go feed him and i was about 12 inches from the floor with his food to set it down, and Otis jumped, grabbed my hand, and clawed and bit the you know what out of it. He HATES to be petted. Dont date pick him up. Occassionlly if Im sitting on the floor, or even in a chair, he'll climb up onto my lap, and curl up and go to sleep, but dont dare touch him or he'll attack. Ive noticed if he's even sitting by someone and they so much as move their hand to itch or anything, the cats eyes dilate and gets that "attack" look on his face.

We have stayed away from physically punishing the cat (ive made it clear do not hit or flick the cat when it attacks). Ive tried re-directing the cat (which has seemed to make things worse). Ive even tried not moving when the cat attacks and saying OWW really loud, or NO. Doesnt work. Even tried clapping my hands to get the cats attention somewhere else besides attacking.

Nothing seems to be working. Over the course of a week the cat has literally gotten worse. We have young children in the house who fear the cat. The cat has to be locked up at bed time otherwise he will come pouncing into the bed and will attack your face (i have numerous deep scratches on my face from his doing this to me). We really dont have the option of getting another, older cat.

Is there anything I can do? I love the cat. I bottle fed him since 2 weeks old, but ive never, in my life, had a cat like this. The closest thing I had was a cat who really specific about the people she liked, but she never attacked. She would hide from strangers, but this cat ATTACKS and is vicious. I cant even pet the darn cat!

PLEASE HELP!!!!!!!

I had this problem with my Monster, who was also a bottle baby...

It's pretty common for cats who were taken from Mom too early, from what I've read. Monster was sooooo bad, always attacking things, and people. Redirecting never worked for him either. But, don't worry, it DOES get better as they get older. Monster is nowhere near as bad as he was, his behavior got much better after he was neutered. Keep trying, things will get better with time.
