Just agreed to foster a kitty

It's the little flame point kitty Carolinalima saw at the shelter. They are euthanizing any cat that comes down with the serious URI they've been fighting, unless someone will take them home to foster.

He's a beauty. Photos as soon as I get home, which may not be until Wednesday night.

No good pics yet, and I have to get to bed to be able to be at work at 7 in the morning.

He's a real pill. He and Emily are playing under the door. We're treating him for giardia. He doesn't seem to have the URI to me, but we're treating him for it anyway.

And Dottie constantly comments on what a beauty he is.

Mike, what do you think the dilated pupils are? Oh, and how old do you think he is?

His pupils contract if he's in bright enough light. We took him immediately to the vet, who checked him over. We're treating him for giardia and with antibiotics for the URI (which doesn't seem too bad right now).

He is a lover, but he has the siamese personality and voice! He wants to be out, playing. Emily was perfectly happy to stay in the bathroom.

And he eats wet food like he's starving.

I posted photos of him in another thread.

Oh, sir, I do hope you have more will-power than I have when it comes to fostering! (I end up keeping mine each time, like now--mama and 3 kittens; I've fallen in love with them.)

Thank you for taking the kitty--you are very kind to do so. Bet he's happy there with you all!

He's such a sweetie. And so funny! He runs around the house trilling to himself, and he can't help but trill when he gets ready to pounce on Emily...then he can't figure out why she's never surprised!

He was just in here a few minutes ago, wanting to cuddle up next to my neck, face, etc.

And such blue eyes!

I like to think we're "breaking in" a life-time companion for some person who really needs them. (We have both Flambe and Emily right now. I hope Emily will be ready to go back in the next week or so.)

He is a beauty, and sounds like a kook - er - little lover!

Bless you for fostering him - this boy certainly deserves to delight someone for years to come!
