Napolitano - Security Chief ???

I've never understood the appointment (and approval) of Napolitano to head our security in the role of United States Secretary of Homeland Security.

She doesn't strike me as a person that I would trust to keep me and my family safe.

Matt Lauer interviewed her today (http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/21134540...08370#34608370), and I'm clueless as to why she was ever even considered for this position.??

Is there anyone that could help me feel better about her leadership?

I'm sorry Gloria, I can't make you feel better about Ms. Napolitano.

As far as I have been able to ascertain, the only people that Ms Napolitano thinks is worth investigating is United States military veterans and people on the right. She doesn't much like the people who attended the Tea Party rallies, either.

Did Obama appoint her? If so, there's your answer.

She always looks like a deer in the headlights.

I would find it hard to trust her to walk an old lady across the street.

I thought Napolitano was a strange choice, at the time, because if I understand correctly the bulk of her government experience was as Governor of Arizona; having lived in Arizona for two years, I can tell you that they have a HUGE problem with illegal immigrants (the gangster drug-dealer kind, I mean, not just regular people without papers). That track record wouldn't inspire me to put her in charge of HomeSec or anything else that had to do with law enforcement.

I wouldn't put Napolitano in charge of a garbage can.

Obama came out and contradicted her response - maybe we'll see a resignation soon.

Some Democrats have joined in calling for Homeland Security Secretary Janet Napolitano to step down.
