I'm really hoping that someone out there will tell me that toward the end of their pregnancies they found themselves doing things like I am. I can't help but laugh at myself sometimes.

Like yesterday....while I was getting ready for bed I found I'd been wearing my brazier inside out all day.
Only to walk into the living room, sit down, and realize I'd then gone and put my pj pants on backwards...

Please share some stories if you can! I can't be the only one to mess up a simple task like dressing myself!! At least I sure hope not!!

I do stuff like that and I'm not pregnant!!

Several years ago when I worked in an office I used to dress up in dressy office style clothing. One day during the summer I went to work wearing a gorgeous black pair of high heels. I had kicked them off my feet for a while in the afternoon and just before going home I retrieved them from under the desk. Imagine my surprise to find out that one shoe was black and the other navy blue! I had taken the bus to work and walked around all day with mismatched shoes!!

Another time not long ago I put on my uniform top and went to work. Around 7am while I was sitting writing out my assignment I went to check for the time on my lapel watch only to discover I didn't have the watch on. I freaked out because it is an expensive watch. I rifled through my purse and my pockets, and after about 10 minutes I discovered that my watch was right were it was supposed to be....on the outside of my uniform top, which was on the inside instead of the outside where it should be!!

I have other examples. But I'm sure you get the picture!

I am not pregnant nor have I even been, but one time I wore a pair of nice slacks to work that I had just washed. I went to the ladies room and felt something in the leg. I reached down and pulled out a pair of my underware that was there from the dryer! I took a big purse at that time and quickly went to my desk and stuffed them in!

And hey, that's good luck, when you accidentally wear something inside-out! So you've got double-good luck!

I had a high school deputy principal who was always wearing mismatched shoes - one would be red and the other would be blue or something to that effect. She was a bit of an oddball so we got used to it. It makes me laugh, thinking back.

Not while pregnant but I once went to a committee meeting with my slacks inside out. I was so embarassed when I realised. Don't know if anyone else noticed or not.

Oh my gosh yes it is
I'm sure each time you are pregnant a part of your brain disappears,
, I have 3 children so I have no hope
. Wait until your nesting comes in, you will be running around cleaning like a mad woman. Good luck with the rest of your pregnancy. I loved it when I was pregnant, I may have one more one day (according to hubby though no more
). x

I wore my panties inside out more often than not. I would shave one leg and not the other. Apparently I ran into an old coworker and had a conversation with them. Someone else told me about it and I was shocked b/c I never liked the one I supposedly talked to.

Good old "mommy brain" doesn't end after the pregnancy! A short time after Ava was born I went out to run some errands. I did my hair and put makeup on....I even put on jeans and a nice sweater! (That was a big deal for me!) When I got home (after going to 4 or 5 stores) my hubby asked what was up with my shirt. Here I'd gone wandering around with my shirt on inside out! I was mortified

Well I'm not and never was pregnant so I don't have any personal goffy stories, but I used to work as a secretary at a small real estate office, and for one of the houses we had listed for sale, the sellers were a family and the mom was a stay at home mom with a 2 year old and she was also pregnant. So when I called to see if it was ok to make an appointment for a showing, she was always kind of loopy, we had some fun(ny) conversations, I really liked talking to her. Once when i called for an appointment, we were on the phone for maybe a half hour or so. And then she called back about an hour later saying "Did I talk to you about a showing? I think I was on the phone with you but I think I was talking in my sleep! I can't remember!!" Since i kind of felt like I knew her from talking to her a lot, I just burst out laughing and said "Yeah, we talked for about a half hour. And you said it was ok for a showing at xx time." haha. She had no idea and felt so silly but wasn't upset about it, just like Wow, I need some sleep!

Me, I often put pjs on inside out or backwards, regular shirts too sometimes. I forget why I walk in rooms, etc.

Well, I just noticed my undershirt is on inside out and I'm not pregnant!

I have a daughter on the autism spectrum and go to message boards with other moms in my situation. One mom was talking about what a frazzled day she was having one day and she was running late and grabbed her child and jumped into the car. A few minutes later, she noticed a man staring at her at a traffic light. She looked down, only to realize she was wearing only a BRA (and a ratty one at that)!

It's all normal!

I've done that about a million times! Easy enough to do!

I did something like that when I was in high school. I made plans to meet my friend at a restaurant for her birthday. The next day she called asking where I was... At least there were other people there and she wasn't sitting there by herself!

I'm not pregnant but this might cheer you up. I'm a nurse and very methodical about any medicines I give to my patients, making sure they are the correct med, dose, etc. Extremely particular. I am the same way with the cats. Maybe not so much with myself, however.

I have been sick for I don't know how long with a bad cough. Last night I was congested. I was about half asleep and got up to take some cough medicine. I grabbed a red bottle of liquid medicine out of the cabinet without paying much attention to it. I actually had a spoon in my hand before realizing it wasn't my cough syrup, it was cat constipation medicine!
I wasn't ever going to tell anyone about this, but thought you might need a good laugh.

My sister is pregnant and due any moment now. (Technically they said the baby wasnt due until January but i think they miscalculated because her baby is in position and she is already 3 cm dilated)

ANYWAY...she is seriously the least happy pregnant woman i know. None of that glowing excitment. She wants her baby but HATES being pregnant. as it happens this just makes her even funnier. When it is just her and her 3 year old son she will send me the most random texts. She is a trip. I am SURE she has worn her clothes inside out, backwards, upsidedown. lol. ect.

I just texted her to see how she is and all she responded is "grrrr" lol

Don't feel bad. When you have tons on your mind the things you do without thinking sometimes get a little mixed up. Im not pregnant and came to work last week with my shirt on backwards. lol
