Years ago, I bought the kids a little bubblegum-type machine. They can turn the wheel and dry treats will fall out into the dish.

The other cats don't use it, but it took BooBoo about 60 seconds to figure it out. And now it has become Boo's favorite way to exercise his "pawceps" and get a snack at the same time.

We keep it in our pantry closet and when Boo decides he needs a snack, he'll walk over to me and give me "the look". I open the door, pull it out, and he goes to town. When he's done eating, he'll walk away....for about two hours or so. The boy has bottomless paws.

Very tricky machine, that serves as great toy for the cat too!

I think I got it at SuperPets, back around 1999 or so. It has held up well. I wash the tray once or twice a day and when the bubble is empty, I take it apart (not difficult to do), wash it well, fill it, and put it back together.

Boo just loves it. Actually Whisper (Boo's mom) knows how to turn the wheel, too, but because she's a puker (sorry to be graphic, but well, she is), we don't let her eat as much as she would like to. Boo, on the other hand, with those bottomless paws of his, can eat as much as he wants. He does walk away when he's had enough. Ms. Pepe, our resident tortie and Boo's sister, waits for Boo to finish, then she'll scarf up what he doesn't want. So it works out fairly well.

KatKisses, your Cody looks like Boo? LOL! I'd say Cody is a handsome fellow! We started calling ours BooBoo because, when he was a kitten, he looked like a little bear cub (well, except for the white). He was adorable, so he became BooBoo. Also known as BooBoo Bibberman, the BooMeister, Mr. Boo, Buddy Boo, and my favorite, Mama's BooBooMan. He answers to all of them, especially when it's time for a T-R-E-A-T or L-U-N-C-H. And yes, we have to spell those words; our cats know exactly what they mean!

You need to put a video of that on Youtube and make yourself some money.

Not sure why I call Cody Booboo... May be from me calling him Boogey too (he's a little booger, lol), he has a ton of nicknames: Booboo, Boo, Boogie, Mr Stinky, Cody McRoady, Boogie cat, ect. He knows all of him names as well, lmao.

Love it!

Not too sure if it would work for me - we have ants on patrol.

But will check out the link that Ondine gave us.

OMGosh, how cool!

I'm glad you found a link to them because, if anything happens, I'd have to get another one! Although, believe me, Boo has had his now for ten years and it's still in really good shape.

Thanks for the link!
