As a Christmas treat, I boiled up some tail on shrimp to give to my boys. Just one or one and a half each.

I did pull the tails off- didn't know if the cats would or should eat them.

I let Tex - my sweet but goofy tuxedo - sniff one of the shrimp. Oh, man. He SNATCHED it out of my fingers, pupils dialated... backing up, growling. MINE, MINE,MINE!!!

He is a lil guy with a small mouth and jaw and I am thinking how in the world is he going to eat that. Well... I tried to take it back..to break into pieces

Bad move -GRRROOOWLLLLL...... OK, Tex. You can figure it out. He managed!
Used those "grind up meat" back teeth!! Didn't have a camera, but to see the shrimp dangling out of the side of his mouth, while he nom, nom, nommed it... was toooo funny.

Mom loved cold boiled shrimp and we had one kitten who liked her to share with him. If he wanted one, his head would get between the shrimp and Mom's mouth.

My dad's cat Onyx is like this with shrimp. If we want to eat anything with shrimp in it we have to cook him his very own shrimp and give it to him, otherwise lock him up in the bedroom while we eat or he will get in there and steal ours off our plates!
