Off to Kyoto!

Heading out in a couple hours to meet the mom and aunt in Kyoto for some R&R. In a few minutes I will be tricking Aya into her carrier for the short ride to Meaghan's place. Here's hoping she behaves herself. Last time she chewed up her cell phone charger!

I used to live in Yokohoma but due to Japan's excellent train service have been to Kyoto several times. I still have hundreds of slides from that city! The Gold Pavililion is a must.

Awesome, have fun! The grand total of my time in Japan is a few hours in the Tokyo airport. I'm hoping that some day I can finagle my way into a conference there and actually see some of the country.
