*whine* *whine*, lol! I think I've probably just reached the end of my rope physically..am just finishing and am about to deliver our last Christmas meal in about 45 mins. Would like some "infection go away" vibes for Charlie though..... he's not feeling too good, and I know he's tired like me, but for some inane reason, three weeks after his hand was stitched up and was healing very nicely, it has decided to get infected, so he's headed out to the after hours clinic to get it checked out.....original plan was the ER, but when he got there, they're so busy that all the beds are full and they're shuffling them back out into the waiting room!

Thanks.....it's quite swollen this morning. Thank God we have a week off, until after New Years!

I'm so sorry: hope Charlie's hand heals soon. You sound as if you're under a lot of stress, as well. Hope things settle down soon.

Thanks guys, you know those things really work? We just got home from the ER, they gave him two bags of different IV antibiotics, and sent him home with prescriptions for another, plus some pain medications. The swelling has already gone down a lot, you can at least see his knuckles now!

Glad the ER fixed him up right.

Infection is nothing to play around with.

To keep getting better.

Good grief.....he and I laid down for a "nap" last night @4 p.m......didn't get up until after 6:30 this morning! I don't know about him, but I feel like an entirely different person, lol! As of last night, his hand looked a lot better, and I mean a LOT.....plus the rash that he had (dr said was a result of a systemic infection starting with his hand) looked a lot better too.....thank God and TCS vibes! He has disappeared off to the bakery to feed the cat up there and putter around, I'm about to do some deep cleaning/throwing out/whatever has to be done around here.......fun!
