So, I took a brief walk through a local park (am told to get more sunlight... low on Vitamin D), then over to the local Safeway... going over to my friends' house in a bit for dinner. I wanted to pick something up, as well as get milk and juice for myself...
IN the refrigerated section, they had the pillsbury rolls, and pre-make/formed cookie dough packs... along with a new one: "Simply..." they have PB or Chocolate Chip. Simple... like the way we'd make them from scratch ... i.e. NO High Fructose Corn Syrup!!!
I just baked them and MAN they smell divine... must resist temptation to eat them...
I'm glad big companies are getting a clue... find alternative sources for HFCS... there's just too much of it out there. I'd bake from scratch, but my kitchen isn't cleaned up enough...
Nothing like the smell of fresh chocolate chip cookies on Christmas Day....
