Mooooooooooooooorning folks!

I realize that some of us don't celebrate Christmas, but from me to all of you I say Merry Christmas eve! And even if you don't celebrate, feel the cheer!

I am off to work in a bit...working until 4pm today but getting overtime so its okay.

Off to FIL's house tomorrow...then mad shopping on Boxing day

I'll be wrapping until the wee hours tonight

At the moment sitting here drinking my coffee watching the weather wondering if I am going anywhere today.
Ice here right now, but in about 3 hours thats all going to rain, temps above freezing, and should be OK. Chicago, where my brother is coming in from, pretty much the same. Unfortunatly, where we are headed to (my folks house 2 1/2 hours North of me) is not looking good at all. Ice all day, then turning to snow, then more ice, *sigh*
So I have no idea what I am doing today, but I guessing its going to involve a lot of cuss words.

I am trying my best to feel better and wake up. DH had a cold for a week and I woke up with it Tuesday. We will have a full house and I hope I am not contagious. I believe it's just the common cold, no fever etc.

Time to get moving lots to do for the 7 fish meal tonight. Mom likes to wait till the last minute to set up

HAPPY CHRISTMAS EVE DAY! I can't believe it's here all ready! Today we're going out to breakfast and to pick up the egg casserole and coffee cake for tomorrow morning. THE MERRY MAIDS are coming today and tonight we're going to the 7:00 Christmas Eve Service.

I have a mind boggling list of last minute things to do today. I doubt I will finish all of them, but I'll give it my best shot.

dh has to do everything today and tomorrow, since my right hand is still out of commission. i got the xmas shopping done early, fortunately.

i wrapped the last of my stuff up this morning and i have to go to work at 4pm till half 7 then im going to the (nearly)MIL for a little bit then coming home and straight to bed otherwise Santa wont leave any presents hehe

My last day of work today, and it should be a nice easy one. Hopefully the weather holds out till later on. And we better get snow not rain for Christmas.

Morning,

I'm going to be lazing around the apartment for another 3 hours or so. After that, I'll be heading to my aunt's house for Christmas dinner. It's always interesting to see her and my cousins again, although it's going to be pretty crowded. After dinner, I'll return home for a bit to feed the kitties, then I'm going to head over to my mom's house and go to the Christmas Eve service at her church. It's a midnight service, so after that I'll probably come home and go straight to bed.

I do know what I'm doing today---and so far it, too, has involved a lot of cuss words! I keep telling myself " 'tis the season to be jolly, 'tis the season to be jolly......."

Morning. Happy Christmas Eve!

I'm at work but only for another hour or so, BF had the day off but was kind enough to wake up early and drive me to work. He had to go out to finish his xmas/bday shopping anyway!! Yeesh!

When I get home I need to do laundry, and my hair, and bake a few more eggnog cookies cos they rock.

Oh I want to pick up some vodka and OJ too, I feel like I'm coming down with something. I need to slam the Vitamin C! And alcohol kills germs! (hey, it's the holidays, let me self medicate a bit with something that tastes better than Nyquil

)

So yes, I need to get my work done, so I can go home and do my chores and relax a bit. Heading over to our friends' place tonight for some beers and appetizer/snacky foods (not even going to try to spell the french word for it! you know what i mean.. h'or-- yeah.). I'm making spinach and feta stuffed mushrooms to bring over. They sound so good, I hope they turn out good too!

Quiet day for us - still some snow on the ground. Sunny, which is SO nice!

Hope everyone with last minute things to do gets them done - and I also hope snow doesn't put a damper on too many plans!

I'm a little late to this one, but for Christmas Eve, my nephew Cooper and I did a little last minute shopping together. After that we celebrated with my family & Jack at my sister Kimmy's house (we all had supper and hung out). When we finished there, Jack and I went to the Christmas Eve service at church with his family, then off to his grandparents house to eat dinner
