I bought some Sam's Club store brand cat food before I got paid and it really does NOT agree with my cats' stomachs (Panther, especially, is sensitive to a lot of foods). I've bought them a new feedbag of food that sits right with them and would like to give the Sam's Club food to someone who can use it rather than just throw it away.

I'll deliver in/around Lufkin, TX or ship anywhere for the cost of shipping. If it's a local delivery I'll throw in some catnip as a Christmas gift for your cats (I don't know how the post office would feel about it if they somehow found unlabeled dried herbs in the shipment, LOL).

Let me know if you or someone you know can use this.

giving the hungry in need decent food is always a good deed.

But it is very possible the shop or the producer does have some sort of satisfaction quarantee. Thus, if your cats dont want the food, you can perhaps return the sack, and get money back.

I thought of a refund, but unfortunately I didn't keep the bag--my cats and I use a bin rather than a bag because they chew into bags and make too much of a mess. Anyway there's nothing wrong with the food as far as I can tell, so it's not really the store's or manufacturer's fault, so I'd hate for them to be out the cost and end up with perfectly good food being thrown away by them instead. I'd rather accept the cost, since I'm responsible for my cats including their picky stomachs, and have the food help someone out.

That satisfaction quaranteen Im talking about is rather about the liking, the fancy, than necessarily about quality. Anyway, so it is in Sweden.
It is their cost for getting people to dare to buy their product if it is new for them. Especielly as most brands dont always have small try out bags to freely give away.

I see though your point (I do appreciate it). And as you had already repacked the food into bins, you are beyond the point of return, as the saying goes.

Good luck!

BF's boss has a couple of strays that started coming around for a meal on the porch when the weather got really cold. I'm taking the food over for them

I'm glad you've found a use for the food.

By the way, I mail cat nip and cat nip beds and toys (I grow it, and make them) all the time. Internationally, too.

Ah, severall flies at one stroke! I love it!

You get rid of that food.

A couple of strays gets help.

You are winning a proselyte for the rescue job!

Dont forget the rescuers next step to coach him into: either adoption or TNR.
