A nice celebrity story

Keith Urban and Nicole Kidman are back in Australia for Christmas I guess. Keith Urban has been in Brisbane (my home town) for a couple of concerts and apparently over the weekend he was in a guitar store, and did a very nice thing for a guy:

The "kid" he bought the pedal for works with my mum, and is actually a young looking 28 year old, who was over the moon with his brush with fame and new pedal

I wonder if he would have still done it if he knew how old the "Kid" he was helping out was.
Still, it really is a nice story. It really goes to show just how kindly the human nature really is!

What a touching story! And I love the fact that he wanted the shop keeper to wait until he had left the store before telling the guy. Very humble gesture!

Keith Urban -- I believe he's the one who wrote that great breakup song with the line "Take your cat, but leave my sweater / We've got nothing left to weather." It's the only thing I've ever heard him do, and it was a live version on YouTube that got really intense toward the end... a really fine performance. I'm not generally a country fan, but this guy is good!

I've never given much thought to Keith Urban before, but now he's on my "good guy" list! What a nice story!

He seems to be one of the good guys. I've heard him interviewed, and he comes across as humble and kind of a regular guy. Not like that nutty Tom Cruise!

He also has a great sense of humor. He and Taylor Swift toured together for one season, and during the last show, while he was performing "Kiss a girl", Taylor and her band pranked him. They came onstage and performed with him made-up and dressed as the band KISS. He nearly broke down laughing, finished the song with them, and then walked off stage giggling.
