And so close to Christmas too!

Increasingly she's taken to darting past my feet and diving under my bed. She very well knows she's not allowed in our bedroom unsupervised. DH can normally get her out easily; but when it's just me here she knows I'm the weak one! Basically because it takes effort to get down on the floor and because my arms aren't as long as his! Usually all DH has to do is make his "stop that" noise and she'll go running. I've learned to take the broom handle and just sweep it under the bed (not hitting her!!). Typically she can't get past me so often but like I said; she knows I'm vulnerable!!

She also "stole" the toy I bought for Abby (mother's dog) for Christmas. After about the 7th time I went out and bought a different stuffed toy for Abby and of course she stole that too!
She's already stolen one of the baby's toys too. Took that back of course; but it's so hard to be upset with her when she's so darn cute stalking off with her prey!

But then she has been extra cuddly too. She knows how to play me!

You need to remind Noodles that Santa is watching!!

Genever doesn't actually steal things, but she has taken to chewing on the lower xmas tree branches (it's a fake one), and I've had to move ornaments and lights up so she doesn't get at them. She knows she's not supposed to do it and I just have to say HEY! Or clap loudly and she runs off. (and then runs right back and chews..)

I had to yell at her while on the phone with my mom and my mom said Don't yell at my granddaughter! It's Christmas, you know how little ones get excited, just let her go!

So I kinda don't yell at her anymore, I try to tolerate her antics.. within reason.. Darn grandma, spoiling my kid when she lives across the country!
