I still can't believe it is so close to Christmas!

I have my annual performance review today, wish me luck! My boss told me yesterday I was doing extraordinary so me thinks a raise is in order

Off to work in a bit...my New Years resolution is going to be not to be late anymore

Have a good one folks...I am hoping my SS package will come today

Good luck and I really hope you get your raise. I am really stressed today, am looking after my friends little buy, so I have four kids running around and I'm pulling my hair out

afternoon all

i have been a busy bee this morning, i put a set of false nails on for over christmas

then i set the table for tea tonight all the washing and the dishes then cleaned both bathrooms done the dusting and cleaned all the benches down in the kitchen so im pooped haha

i think i will relax this afternnon

Nat: I'm in the same boat as you, and hopefully everyone who hasn't gotten their SS stuff will get it today

Me: nothing much happening.... might have to run uptown for some wrapping paper later. DH thought there was some in our bedroom, I looked and couldn't find any.

I'm anxiously awaiting a package in the mail.... the rest of my Christmas shopping....please please let it be here before Friday. It has the rest of my FIL and one DD's present in it

Please let it come.

I'm also tracking a package to a dear friend and hoping beyond hope that it gets there. It should be there today with any luck......

I will probally go out today and grab the last minute stuff..... most people around here take the day before xmas off so Thurs. will be really busy and I really don't like the crowds.

DH will be home tonight..... I'm so glad thats down to only one or two nights a week that he is gone now.

We are getting a little bit of snow this morning, with a lot more on the way, supposedly.

I am working on my e-newsletter from the forum I admin, that goes to about 18,000 people tomorrow morning.

I'll be out of the office until after Christmas, but I'll still try to peek in here every now and then. Stay warm!

It's bright and sunny here this morning, but cold. Tonight I will be making some dips and appetizers for our work lunch tomorrow. I'm in charge of pan-fried onion dip, frosted pumpkin bars, pizza poppers (just little yeast rolls with chopped pepperoni and shredded mozz that you dip into pizza sauce), and anything else I can think of while I'm cooking.

I mailed off my last package this morning on my way to work. This is for a dear friend of mine, but as usual I was a little late. She knows that if she doesn't get it by Christmas, she'll probably get it on Saturday.

Our shopping is pretty much done....finally. We need a few things for our grandchildren's stockings, but that's it. We were out shopping last night, but forgot about the stocking stuffers. Looks like we'll be back out in the crowds.

Good morning,

I'll be working from home this morning. No sense going in since my advisor is going to be out. I'm going to try to go see my parents and do my laundry later this afternoon. On the way home, I need to stop for groceries. I don't need much, but I'm out of warm food for breakfast and I'm not a big fan of cereal in the winter

I also need to pick up some dry cleaning and cat food while I'm out. After I get home, I'll probably do a bit more work on the computer before bed.

I woke up a little while ago and did a little studying. I'm about to get ready and go get my hair cut now!!

After that I'm supposed to see my sister Debbie (who I haven't seen in several years) and my best friend Renae!

Morning..

It's 4 days til my birthday! Eek!

It's so windy here!!! Was super windy all night too. It kept waking me up. Also stupid prednisone kept waking me up. And let's not forget GENEVER with her CONSTANT litterbox digging kept waking me up!!! I think the prednisone is the only reason I was able to even get out of bed and off to work this morning!

But alas, here I am. Bosses are both gone now til next week. After the mailman comes I'm going to go drop off some ink/toner cartridges at Staples for recycling. I need to pick up a few things at the drugstore so i'll just do that too while I'm out. My boss said i could come in late and leave early this week since nothing is really going on, I just need to check mail and messages and faxes and all that. Besides being awake anyway, the only reason I came in on time today was to put out the recycling and trash bins. I forgot to last night when i left. Wow that was an interesting story, huh??

No plans for this evening. I got all my wrapping done last night. Maybe if I'm up for it I'll bake some more eggnog cookies. YUM!

A very special gift I ordered arrived - and it's not OK. I'm so bummed.

Other than that, I'm done with Christmas stuff. Gary and I aren't doing anything for each other.

Went to another neuro this morning for Gary. Got another referral.

Got three hours of sleep last night. I wish I could take a nap today, but have several conference calls lined up, so no nap today.

Good luck with that resolution Nat! That's one I should make but at least pretty soon I can blame being late on the baby!

Oh and hope you got your raise!!

I made myself a checklist of things to do this week so working on that now; but it's about time I gave my puffy feet their rest.

I just can't sit still ALL day! Laundry is almost done except the bed linens. And folding...but it's washed at least! Picked out birth announcements for the baby and did some other baby related things too. I'm saving the hard stuff (sweeping, mopping, vacuuming and cleaning the bathrooms!) for later.

Thankyou Laurie! I spent all day catching up with my sister, uncle, and granny! (my best friend flaked out on our other plans). It was fun!
