Took Archie to a new vet. She checked his teeth and said he already has quite a bit of periodontal disease! 
I also said the other cats' breath is really bad. We were going to talk about it.. and we still will. I emailed her and haven't heard back yet.
In the meantime, what can I do w/o trying to brush their teeth. I value my hands and fingers in an unshredded state.
