One of my three cats has been occasionally throwing up. Like once a week or so, right after eating. Otherwise, he seems perfectly normal. Weight is fine, seems to have normal energy level, not acting weird.

If heâ€[emoji]8482[/emoji]s eating something he shouldnâ€[emoji]8482[/emoji]t, Iâ€[emoji]8482[/emoji]m fairly confident itâ€[emoji]8482[/emoji]s not from inside the house. I have an Invisible Fence system and let my cats out in a large back yard 2-3 times a day. Iâ€[emoji]8482[/emoji]m thinking heâ€[emoji]8482[/emoji]s ingesting something in the back yard that is upsetting his digestive system.

One of the cats had a bout of foaming at the mouth that (according to the vet) was probably caused by an attempt to consume a gecko. Wondering if this (the throwing up) might be related.

If a cat has consumed something poisonous, or had an intestinal blockage, would that be immediately apparent (constant symptoms)? Or could it produce latent, intermittent problems?
