Any ideas why my 2 year old male would like to chew and shred up paper? He doesn't eat it, but he'll seek out any sheets of paper lying around - scattered mail, a paper bag, etc. I've been making sure I don't leave these items around, but every once in a while, I catch him shredding something. I sometimes see him chew other things, but never to the extent that he goes after paper. Any ideas? Thanks in advance.

This mat caught my eye because of its size and texture, which traps fine litter rather well. It's large enough for jumbo litterboxes, which is also a plus. It's not quite as easy to clean as a...

This scoop was a freebie with some clumping litter I bought last year, and I like it so much that I've bought a second one. It's perfect for fine clumping litter, which it sifts very thoroughly....

I think they may like the sound of it.
I have one that loves to shred things, too - only he will eat a few pieces. I try to keep stuff put up and that solves it.

When we first got Punkin, he had the habit of grabbing the corner of a sheet of paper, if we left anything around. For a while, any paperwork we sent in from the truck looked like someone had roughly stapled the corner, then just as roughly removed it. Two big holes and a tear!
