All snuggled up

Here I sit on the floor, surfing the web, legs stretched out, blanket wrapped up around me. Here comes Ellie, cuddles up between my legs (head by my feet, butt at my knees). She's so comfy and happy that she's snoring!!! Even tho my body parts are starting to fall asleep, I can't bring myself to move her - she's just too cute!

OMG - now she's laying on her back, front paw across her face and covering her eyes and her back legs are crossed. Nothing like being totally comfortable!! If only I could get pics of this - but I'm the only one here and there is no way to reach the camera...

Isn't that the only way to do it? JC has been hanging out with a skunk and the other eve, when I was going inside & out, unloading groceries, JC decided to park it on the couch, and when I was making my 4th or 5th trip out to the car, a little skunk came running up! So I shooed it off! Missed photo op of course (whose got the camera in-hand while unloading groceries )
And tonight, when I drove up, a little skunk (presumably the same one) was trotting happily to underneath my husband's clunker camping van. "Aha!" I told myself,"I bet JC is already under there..." and sure enough - out comes trotting JC when I open the car door!! That's definitely YouTube fodder, but, like you, no handy camera!
But I can visualize sweet Ellie in her "otter" pose - precious

Thats adorable! Fiona did that to me the other day. She NEVER cuddles on top of my body (love the winter months!) so even though we are getting uncomfortable (sometime in pain) we are totally at the mercy of the cuteness.

I love her sleeping technique being called "the otter pose" - so true!!!
