My cats LOVE when I make the bed. They hear me doing it and come in and hope up. I have to make the bed AROUND them and then they lounge on it all day. It's so funny.

If my cat is in the room with the bed being made he often gets made IN it.
It's very amusing to watch him tunneling around like a commando until he slips out and down the side of the bed.

My Callie loves to chase the sheets as I'm making the bed. She seems to think it's playtime when I'm trying to make the bed. Sometimes it's a fruitless endeavor for me.
i don't know why cats love to help you make up the bed.
our cat that passed away last year, Penelope, she always helped my wife make up the bed and so does our little daughter, Delilah, she helps her mommy make the bed every morning.
I guess I'm just lazy I finally gave up fighting with the cats to make the bed, and stopped making it.
