I have not posted as much for the past month, it has been kind of a rough time for me. I have been in the hospital several times, still driving my cab part time, that is as much as I can do, and trying to find a job that I can manage to do full time.
2 days before Thanksgiving I got a letter in the mail that my unemployment denial had been reviewed and that I was due 17 weeks. That was such a huge blessing because I did not know how we were going to manage to stay in our house and keep the kitties, being again faced with the possibility of losing them to God knows where. We did not even have a back up plan this time. DH is also driving a cab now, tattooing in this town being a non existent living these days. We are fine through the winter and may even be able to save enough money to go home where I can get the treatment I need at the medical college.
While I was at the unemployment office, I was so ill I could barely stand, and was having trouble breathing. I had planned to go to the ER that morning, but had to make that appointment. DH took me in his cab, but had to go on to work. I got there too early, and had to wait outside for half hour, but it seemed like a lifetime. I was so thirsty, but could not even make it to the machine 3 stores away. A lady that was also waiting pulled her car up to the door so I could sit in it, and brought me a bottle of water. She was so nice to me, a stranger, and stayed with me after until a friend came and got me after my appointment. It is rare that I have had anyone be so kind to me, and I was so grateful to her. I hope whoever and wherever she is, she is very blessed this holiday and beyond. She really restored my faith in the good in people.
I wish blessings and kindness for all of you at TCS this holiday season!
