Puttering around the kitchen and began to hear ick-ickcickick.. squee, squee... ickcicicicicick.... And turned to see Rex, Prowler and Jakie lined up on the chairs in front of the window, chattering at the falling snow!

And where is my camera to shoot some video? In the CAR of course-- outside, snowy cold....

So I grabbed my cell phone intent on shooting some video that way. Well, no sooner did I approach them... then the chattering stopped. Silence. They were more curious about ME and the phone than the snow.

I step away... give them a few minutes --- the chattering begins again. Again... I approach with the phone. Turn. Look at me. Sniff camera-phone.

I am sure I will have more opportunities over the winter to capture it. Wanted to share it with you guys. It was just too cute!

You'll be prepared next time.
Here the cats enjoy watching whats left of the leaves fall and all the birds in the yard. They'll chatter at the birds some.

Be careful going traveling between houses in that weather. Make sure you salt anything you need to so you don't fall.

Speck chatters at reflections (even what we see as slight reflections, such as the glint off a piece of foil on the ceiling). It's too bad you didn't get that reaction to the snow recorded.
