Yeah, I tried to trick you guys again but no go. You guys really know your geography; something about being a cat lover must make you more aware of the world. I tried to trip you up once before with Monaco, both Monaco and Vatican City are nations that even have their own postage stamps and before the Euro came along, both minted their own money.

This photo was taken in 1996. And I always give the year when pertinent to the question; for example, in the case of East Germany, I would have indicated the year as being prior to 1990. However; in the case of Vatican City...

For you. But for some, I considered this to be hard. I expected Italy to be immediately named, as it was.
Very few people know that Vatican City is a separate nation (well, at least amongst us WASPs.)

There is another country within Italy that will come along some day. As a child collecting postage stamps, this country within Italy produced the most dazzling of all stamps for me. Some of you already have guessed the correct country but will you recognize it when I post it?
