Wombat is home....pic heavy

He has arrived and what a sweetheart he is. Purring up a storm and just wanting neck scratches while on the car ride home. I didnt get any pics at the airport or in the car but I got them all at home. Here they are!!!

Still in the carrier while i finished fixing the bathroom, pretty scared lil guy!


I put him in the bathroom and when i went back in he was scared and hiding between the vanity and the tub...a tiny lil space.


So i left him alone for a while and went back in the bathroom and here is what i got....happy lil boy purring up a storm.




then i put his food dish in front of him cause i think he is afraid of getting out of his bed.....

look at that cute lil tongue.


I him sooooo much, hes such a great boy, a little scared but coming around.

Aww, he's so cute! He's got that kind of kitty face that looks like he's smiling! I hope he settles in soon, looks like he's getting there already!

he IS happy, he just wants to purr and curl up in my lap and i absolutely LOVE it. He has the most adorable sqeeek of a meow. When i woke up this morning i made my normal bathroom run and he was sitting in his bed all curled up purring and looking cute. He got up and rubbed against me and wanted some pets. I then start my daily morning ritual and I hear this screaming MEOWWWW!!! He wants out of the bathroom to explore...i know i know its early for that but my husband is still sleeping and I don't want Wombat to wake him up, so i gave in and let him out. He went hiding under my loveseat and then just hissed at Sloth and Goose cause they were being pushy. I put them in the room and that left Kricket, Worm, & Possum out still. Kricket hissed and sat under the kitchen table and Worm and Possum gave him his space while Wombat ran around the house exploring. He is still exploring, letting the resident cats get closer to him but he is still hissing and growling. The dog is the next hurdle, Wombat found the dog in his crate and swatted him through the cage. Poor Ecko

Oh that Wombat is a doll. I sure do love orange kitties! I have never met an orange cat I didn't love! They are so loving! Seeing him makes me miss the two I had, Baby K and Sammy.

Hopefully intros will go smoothly. Give him a squeeze for me!

I'm not surprised that Wombat wanted out the bathroom. He hated being confined to my spare bedroom for the night and would throw himself up against the door and squeak pitifully to be let out.

Sounds like the cats are reacting pretty much as expected. I bet it won't be long for Wombat loves your kitties as much as he loved mine. He LOVES snuggling with other kitties. He was exposed to dogs before I fostered him, so I bet he'll get used to Ecko pretty quick too.

I'm glad he's being so lovey with you already. What a sweetie.

my DHs name is Vinnie and I don't give animals human names, Wombat has been a name on my list of names for a while....lol yes i have a "list" of names for future animals. I love my lil Wombat aka Batty!
