The Cat Came Back The Very Next Day...

A couple of days ago, a caring man adopted Vader, my black 1 1/2 year old male. The guy lives 8 blocks away from me, in an apartment. He owns two cats already, mother and daughter. He decided he wanted a male cat, and Vader was the perfect guy for him! The very next day, Vader came home! My sister went downstairs and found Vader sleeping on her bed! He must have came in through my brothers window. It's kinda like homeward bound!

I guess Vader just loves us so much that he couldn't bare to leave us! We are going to keep him, build an outdoor enclosure and see what happens from there! Weird!

The cat came back the very next day...

LOL! Go Vader! He knows where he wants to be!

That happened to me about 15 years ago. Only the adopting couple lived a lot farther away.

We were adopting out a Cat and a couple from about 40 miles away decided they wanted the cat. We were moving and needed to downsize. They took her home and a day later I got a call from the new mom who told me the cat (Sam)got out and disappeared. Poor lady was crying and didn't know what to do. About 4 days later, I came home from work and Sam was sitting on our front porch. We hadn't moved yet. Well Sam ended up moving with us and we didn't try placing her again! She let us know in no uncertain terms what her desire was!

omg that is funny! Unbelievable. So you are going to keep him now? What about the poor guy that adopted him?

We are going to keep Vader! I am going to give the guy a call and let him know that Vader is back at home! I had to downsize too. Hercules and Mimi are both Snowshoe Siamese kitties so they found a home instantly, the two kittens are in great homes now. I am left with 6 cats. Peppurr, Twinkles, Vader, Majesty, Rascal and Zeus.

We are building and outdoor enclosure on my moms next day off from work. It's going to be 8 feet long, 8 feet wide and 8 feet tall. I am going to put a huge tree log in the center, carve it and wrap it with sisal rope. I am making a litter box enclosure inside and a walk all the way around the pen. That way the cats can satisfy their urges to go outside and not be hurt!

Kellye, I am doing great! I have gained 9 pounds in 6 months, the doctor says I am in perfect health and I have nothing to worry about!
