A cat tree with a ramp, because Speck isn't much of a jumper or climber, and he wants to play on the cat tree like the others.

I'm thinking about one of the ball-in-a-track thingies. But I have already bought a pack of fur mice and some catnip. I gave them one mouse and it has been all over the place!

A kitten

Actually we've been talking about it for a while. We have friends who found a mama cat with kittens, and we told her we'd like one.

And they're all black. We lost our black cat in August from kidney failure. He was old- 17. But it still hurt. Never thought I'd want another black cat again, but............

And the nicest thing was- she said that they'd keep the kitten until after Christmas

We're going away the day after Christmas, and I really didn't want to worry about a new kitty, and having the neighbor's kids watch them, and something happen before we've even had a chance to get him/her used to our home.

So Sneaky had better look out in 3 weeks............

I don't buy gifts for the cats like that.
Probably because I'll buy and make them stuff year round. Nearly every room in my house has cat toys in it.

But, you're looking for ideas.

She has lots of cats herself so everything she makes will be safe.

Crinkle balls and mylar balls. Most cats love these. (I'm currently missing half a dozen mylar balls because one of my kittens hid them somewhere so the other cats can't play with them...
)

Beds, extra tall scratching posts, cardboard scratchers, and crinkle tubes/caves all tend to be things most cats love.

Fighting for ferals in NW NJ!
Ours aren't getting Xmas gifts from us - our family sends stuff LOL. We were lucky enough to be gifted a box of Auntie Em creations earlier this year, and they went NUTS for them! Another member, Pat, also has great cat toys available (check out the Member Marketplace forum!) - oh shoot, but she doesn't ship to Canada. I'd recommend anything from Auntie Em (made by Amy - member name Momofmany). She also makes personalized gifts for humans.

Theyll get their standard collection of gifts: cat candies, special canned cat foods (that probably wont get eaten), catnip, and some new cat toys. That said, if you ask them, what they get for Christmas is wrapping paper balls!

Hmm...maybe I should try it.

Seriously, congratulations on your new kitten.

They will be getting another set of turbo track. All three love it so I wanted to add to it. Other than that they'll just get what our SS sends for them.

I always get them something but with three its usually something I wouldn't buy middle of the year. I don't buy many toys I make most of theirs. I couldn't figure out a way to recreate the turbe track tho...

I bought a couple of new catnip toys, but that's it. I doubt that they'll play with them. They're more interested in the packing paper and ribbons than anything that I buy for them

I bought a new catnip banana and a catnip cigar. One of the catnip bananas is pure nastiness, and the other has a hole in it, leaking the catnip out. I think it's time for some new ones, but who knows if I'll actually throw them out or not

I don't really buy gifts for her at Christmas either..she has TONS of cat toys already so I can't justify buying more
But I do pick up things every here and there throughout the year.

Hiding from my SS!
I have to get presents for my two boys plus my dad's two boys since I am living there again. Lets see so far they have:

New fleece blanket to go on their window seat/table, joint gift for all
Catnip Mouse from Ragtime Pet Collars for Mulder
Baggie of Milk Rings (I've been collecting) for Spooky
Kitty Pillow/bed for Romeo
A new bird refill for Onyx

Special Canned food for Christmas Dinner, one for each kitty.
A new box of treats for each kitty

I got Spooky and Mulder new collars from Ragtime with their names and phone number but I already gave those to them for Spooky's gotcha day.

Well I had to get Maia a couple of the same toys I sent my SS recipient, she loved them! I work at a holiday decor company and bring her home little trinkets I think she may like every week......But I am thinking of building her a new window perch, ramp, with some special kitty loving additions! However I don't think I will be able to do so by Christmas....Please don't tell her, she has no idea
