horrible, horrendous mats. so bad, most areas came off in one swell SWOOP> had the spca seen it, they would've taken him from me. No matter how much he cries in the future, I will brush him thrice weekly. IT WAS HORRIBLE> poo was caked back there and everything, I felt like a HORRIBLE parent. He is so happy to be licking and grooming himself now. he has the nappiest hair, EVER!!! I love my baby. He looks like a turkey now though- on steroids, I must try my best not to nibble him, LOL!!!!! he is so soft, and supple...

Aw, he's so majestic with his lion cut! Very cute!

P.S. Does he really weigh that much? He doesn't look that big.

aww, what a big boy!! They do seem to feel better after their haircuts dont they! I do groomings at a vet clinic and I always suggest undercoat rakes for long haired cats. They work great on Chester and Arthur but not Ruby for some reason. But it really helps to get the dead hair out and keep them from matting. Some cats just do mat though (like Ruby) He sure looks cute!
