Morning peeps!

Welp, it is Monday again, but I am excited because for 2 weeks I get to wear jeans to work!!

Annnnnnnnnnd, it's my birthday week!!

I won tickets to see So you think you can dance on my birthday so Josh and I are going...and that same day (Friday) we have a body shop taking us out for fajitas at lunchtime! BEST BIRTHDAY EVER!

Anyway, let the jean week start!!

Sounds like Nats week is off to a good start.


I'm doing a lot better than yesterday. Yesterday was horrid, and I slept most of the day.

Today my pain level is manageable with meds, and I have a couple things to do.

Kitchi and Kiwi are going in for a neuter. I have to drop them off between 8 and 9.

After I drop them, I'm going to stop at the grocery store, because I heard that there might be a chance I will find the sought after Tim Tams. I also have to hit the post office as well. Then pick up the kitties later on this afternoon.

And feed my farmville addiction (thanks guys, you know who you are).

I got up early today, so maybe a nap....we'll see how things go.

Good Afternoon everyone

im resting my knee today, i hurt it 2 weeks ago at work then again coming down the stairs at home and then again on saturday so i can feel it grinding inside my knee and thes a dull ache going on at my knee cap area

so becasue im stuck lying about today im going to catch up on animal crossing and maybe have a dodge onto farmville i seem to have been pursuaded by Chris's posts of being on there

(got to blame someone for face book addictions hehe)

Well 15 years ago DH and I started dating. I feel so old saying that.

Today I get to roll my 401k into an IRA. Hopefully everything works out at Dh's job and he gets out in time. The appointment is 15mins from when he gets home!

In the meantime it's laundry day. I may squeeze in some cookies before Mom starts her batch tonight. I hope to get some wrapping done today but I won't count on DS giving me the time.

I have a long day at the shelter, starting at 9 and ending with a Board meeting that usually ends at 9:30

I haven't been sleeping well and only got 4 hours restless sleep last night so is going to feel like a very long day

I actually have plans today!!

My friend, her bf, and cody and I are going out today.

It's been so depressing lately because my closest friend hasn't wanted anything to do with me, so I'm happy that one of my other friends is stepping up to the challenge of staying friends.

Morning,

I stayed up pretty late last night writing on my dissertation so I slept late and I'm getting a pretty slow start today. I struggled all weekend to find the motivation to write, so I wasn't about to stop and go to bed when it finally hit me. It would be lunch time by the time I got in and my advisor/boss is out until Wednesday, so I'll probably just work from home today. It's pretty wet and nasty out, so it's a good day for that. I'll try to do some more writing today and I also have some errands I need to take care of.

Cloudy but at least it's stopped snowing. We sure got a ton of it over the weekend.

I have a few errands to run today but nothing to serious.

Kind of slippery out so hopefully I don't land on my butt somewhere.

I feel your pain...I have my farm timed to my work schedule.

Back at work this morning...oonly two days left before my vacation so I'm just desperately tryign to get things finished up.

Got back from visiting the inlaws for Christmas this weekend and it wasn't too painful, so I'm feeling more positive about the holidays...now if only my to-do list was shorter.

Morning.. I made some really good Monday coffee this morning at work. I never measure precicely, I just do a heaping scoop plus another half-to-heaping scoop, depending on the water level and my mood. It's on the stronger side today. Yum!

So I'm pretty much done with xmas shopping, unless i happen to see something that would be good for BF. I got him a new digital camera for xmas but gave it to him last month so he'd have it for England, so I just got some little things so he has stuff to open on xmas day. I sent my mom's birthday and xmas presents last week and will send cousin's presents today after work.

Hmm... well we got our big rain over with on Saturday, who knows when it might rain again. Next year? Nah, hopefully we get some more this 'winter'. Looks like it might hit 70 by the end of the week. Nice! It still feels so wrong to see Christmas decorations next to palm trees while you're wearing a t-shirt.

It's weird.

I might make a soup tonight, soup is good. Split pea perhaps. Or lentil. I didn't soak any beans so no big beans. Perhaps mushroom lentil soup with random other veggies thrown in. Yeah, that sounds good. Thanks for the idea!
