Marlow update

When I got home at 3am on Thursday after being away for seven days, my little buddy Sasha met me at the door. I was very happy to see him. Marlow was sleeping in our bed with my wife! Talk about moving right in. He and Sasha spar a bit. It seems to be more play than actual animosity. They do seem to make each other mad at times. When I've seen this happen they have always called a truce, never escalating the conflict beyond one or two retaliatory strikes.

They cooperate very well at feeding time. Marlow now has manners when I feed dry food. He still gets carried away a bit when his favorite wet food cans get opened. Speaking of wet, Sasha now eats wet. He learned that from Marlow. Sasha doesn't eat wet as fast as Marlow so he has to defend his meal by growling at Marlow. Marlow heeds the warnings and waits to clean up any morsel Sasha may leave behind.

Marlow lets me pet him before and during meals but he doesn't let me get close otherwise. He's indoors for 22 days now. He lets Becky pet him alot. He even asks her for attention.

My boys sitting at the table wondering if I'll feed them some yogurt.

It was Activia brand, mixed berry flavor. They don't like that flavor. They like plain and strawberry. They can't read yet so they were standing by just in case.

You cannot open a tub of the stuff quietly enough that Sasha will not appear in his chair immediately. Marlow just follows Sasha's lead.

Well mixed berry or strawberry, it's darn cute!
