Greetings & Hallucinations

Hello - Newbie Ruby here

I joined because I was trying to find out info regarding the Emerycat Board. I'm now going to wait until I see one before I buy it. My furbabies allow me to trim their nails so no probs there.

Currently I have 3 felines: 1 crabby old female (I've had her for about 10 years); 1.5 year old black cat named Cinder-fella; just adopted 2 year old ginger male (gentle giant weighs in at 20 lb and not fat).

Smudge - crabby girl

Cinder

Clancy (gentle giant)

Thanks - Clancy is the new kid on the block. I got Cinder a few months ago but he is so young and full of vim that he is pestering my senior girl. I figured if I get him a companion they can tire each other out.

We are still in the stages of hissy fits and growling but slowly they are getting less hissy. Fortunately none of them are aggressive at all - just a bunch of sissies that have to hiss to prove a point.

Welcome to TCS! I just joined as well. Your cats are so adorable. I'd like to see a group photo sometime to really see how big this gentle giant is! Hopefully all the hissing between them will end soon. Hope you enjoy it here!

Clancy is a red-head so I figure he's an Irish cat. He came with that name and I don't dislike it.

Clancy and Cinder were seen playing this morning. This much belies the fact that they were fighting at 3AM. I had to get up and squirt water on them. The initiater is Cinder because Clancy is not at all aggressive.

I'm going to start Cinder drinking whiskey and smoking cigars as his kitty voice does not go with his male stature. I figure the whiskey & smoke will deepen his voice. My senior cranky cat has a deeper voice than he does.

I thought Cinder was big when I got him and he is an armful. But nothing compared to Clancy. I'm tall and large and Clancy more than fills my abundant lap. He purrs and purrs and purrs - what's not to like?
