Morning All!!

I have one word to say about the weathe SNOW and lots of it. It has been going on for almost 3 days now and the town is pretty much at a stand-still trying to get rid of it.

Not up to much today just putter around the house..

May watch a movie later.

The cats are all sleeping under the comforter on my bed....Smart Kitties.

Morning,

It's cold here this morning. The low was 18, which is about 15 degrees below our normal low. We don't have a lot of days in the teens even in January.

While I was at the gym on the treadmill last night I saw an advertisement for a 5K race this morning and I was thinking it looked like fun. Then I remembered it was going to be 18 degrees this morning. No thanks! I'd rather run in the middle of July any day.

I'm getting ready to hop in the shower and then I'm going to head over to my parents to do my laundry and visit for a while. I'll be taking my laptop so that I can do some writing while I'm over there. I'm having a hard time writing this one section, but once I get it I'll have 5 chapters down and only 3 to go! The last 3 are all results, so I have to get some more data, but there shouldn't be a whole lot of writing in those.

After I get back, I'll probably watch some TV and perhaps enjoy a bottle of wine this evening.

Well, lovely and sunny here this morning, although -10C. We're going skiing!

That's always interesting first time out in the season.

Gotta take advantage of the weather when it's nice though.

Not much doing today aside from the normal household stuffs..... I'm about to head and make a craft with DD for her SS at school.

Then tis the usual, laundry, snakes, tidying.

Very cold here, -25°C, the weather liar just said and we are under a wind chill warning. By tonight, we should be experiencing temps around the mid -30's and windchills to -50°. Gonna go back out and wrestle about 100 puunds of hay inside and take out water, and maybe a trip later; if the horses have lots of hay, they will be ok. The barn cats will likely huddle under their heat lamp and wish for tinned food that would freeze solid before they could eat it.

Another cold, dreary day in Eastern NC. I have been out of work for a week after a bout with pneumonia and spending Thanksgiving in the hospital. While I was there, they discovered I have gallstones. Lovely! I hope to go back to work tomorrow. I have been so bored, and have not been able to do anything much around the house because of the meds I have been on. I an getting very sick of Law and Order reruns.

Afternoon peeps!

We stayed in bed until noon today...well I got up around 10 for about an hour and then went and snuggled DH until he woke up

We have had a rough week so it was nice to relax.

We then made french toast and sausages..

We are now doing laundry and watching a movie...DH has to study soon though.

We might rent a movie tonight
