W/ the best cats
There's a new anime for catlovers. It's called Nyan Koi (Meow Love). The story is about a high school boy who is allergic to cats. He accidentally breaks a cat statue and is cursed. He will turn into a cat unless he aids 99 felines. It's quite funny but yet on the way he learns life's lessons and gets lucky with the girls.

check it out.

I LOVE Anime!!!!!

My favorite anime ever is a tossup between Paradise Kiss <3 and FAKE but I enjoyed their Manga far more.

I will have to check this one out when Cody isn't around as he likes to laugh at me for watching it.

It's kind of childish, but on the subject of cats, Tokyo Mew Mew is a cute one too.

Rigel, all of Hayao Miyazaki's films are well worth watching.
I was just excited to see that Inuyasha is back and they are finally going to resolve that story.
Now I can fiish it and leave it behind.

I've watched every episode of Death Note, plus the two live action movies, now I'm watching Bleach and Blood+.

Of course I steam them, so some days I get to watch nothing at all

I'm a huge bleach fan. I have the first 8 seasons on DVD. I can't wait until Tuesday when the english subtitles are done for episode 250.

And Miyazaki's films are all awesome. I absolutely love Princess Mononoke, Spirited Away, and My neighbor Totoro.

Death Note was excellent while it lasted, but with only 39 episodes, it was just too short lived. Here Bleach is on 250 and Tite Kubo has plans for at least 6 more seasons of the manga, so that would be about 8 seasons of the anime.

Has anybody watched Ponyo yet? By far it is one of my favorite Miyazaki films, but my very favorite is Princess Mononoke.

I love anime!! In fact I used to work for a Anime news site and got to go to the Otakon conventions in Baltimore as a member of the press. I acutally interviewed the character designer for Cowboy Bebop! It was awesome!!

Right now I am going through Kanon with my friend Nick and it is amazing! I also love Air and Has anyone seen the movie Voices of a Distant Star or Beyond the Clouds I REALLY loved those as well. THere are so many anime's that I have seen an enjoyed i don't know where to begin!

I am delighted because last semester I got to take a class (and I'm in graduate school) called The supernatural, horror and ghost stories of Japan and we watched alot of anime in addition to the horror movies such as The Ring.

As for cat animes the one that I am begging my friend to get me for Christmas is Chii's Sweet Home. Everytime I go into kinokuniya (the Japanese book store) I get transfixed by it. Especially the episode where the kitty first discovered the littler box...it is beyond words cute.

I love anime too! The Cat Returns is a great film, I love Totoro and so does Peaches. Chi's sweet home is soooo Kawaii! ( cute ). There's an anime all about cats called Kuruneko that's amazing! I 'll have to look for Nyan Koi!

Win!

I'll have to check out Nyan Koi. Speaking of anime cats, I had considered picking up a plush doll of Sakaki's "CHOMP cat" from Azumanga Daio as a toy for my kitties:

I'm a anime fan too, but a picky one. For every one I really get in to, I find others and I'm just like bleh so cookie-cutter. Also HAS to be in Japanese, as they tend to have the best voice actors I think, even if it is all moon-speak!
Really like Cowboy Bebop mentioned and love Ghost in the Shell series and movies.

Another one not too many seem to have heard of that I liked is Haibane Renmei with the angel girls that wake from a dream in a protected walled town.

Chii's Sweet Home appears to be designed to induce a cutegasm!

My girlfriend and I watched Chii's Sweet Home. It was like watching the cutest trainwreck on the internet. It was even cuter than watching baby pandas tumble.

Even though this one isn't an anime, has anyone watched Simon's Cat on youtube? I don't have a kitty yet, but I hope when I do get one she is exactly like Simon's Cat lol! "Mao! Ah ah."

I am a huge Miyazaki fan. Kiki's Delivery Service holds a special place in my heart. I saw a preview for it on a Sailor Moon VHS I bought from Toys R Us when I was 7. I begged my mom to buy it for me, and she could never find it. A few years later (when p2p became popular) I managed to find it. Been hooked since. I can't get enough of Miyazaki's films.

LOL I love Azumanga Diaoh! Its my favorite to put on when I have a bad day and need a good laugh. The manga was excellent was well.

I am the same way with my anime...i'm extremely picky. I have seen so much junk and I too only watch them in Japanese with English subtitles (I''m not that fluent enough in Japanese to watch them unsubbed)

oh I also loved Haibane Renmei..even though my friend walked off with my entire series to watch it and hasn't given it back! BUT that is ok since i have his copy of Whispers of the Heart.
(he lives down the road from me)

I have the manga of Chii's Sweet Home and it is just as cute as the anime.

LOL I let my sister borrow my copy of Kiki's Delivery Service and she informed me that i am NEVER going to get it back since my little 2 year old neice LOVES it. she walks around the house holding the DVD and points to the player and says "kitty movie" so cute!

Has anyone seen Last Exile?
