The word this morning is not good. My mom was up with her most of the night helping her to the litterbox and to the drinking bowl. She isn't showing much interest this morning in drinking My parents are speaking with the vet to determine what the next step will be. At her age I think it's going to be all about keeping her comfortable.

Antibiotics can make a kitty go off her food, but I am a little confused. Has Simmie been to the vet? Has blood work been done? It may be something manageable but she needs the proper diagnostic tests.

She was in to the vet before the weekend. At the time only a urine sample was taken which showed bacteria in the urine. They were hoping it was only a UTI. I'm not sure what their plan will be this morning at the vet's. I'll update as soon as I have news.
