Vibes for Simmie

My childhood cat Simmie needs some vibes.

My mother tells me that this morning Simmie peed what looked like pure blood. My mom was able to get a sample in to the vet clinic. They have started her on antibotics while they do further tests.

Please send some vibes that it isn't anything more serious than a UTI. Simmie is 22 years old and is otherwise in very good heath.

Thanks for the vibes everyone!. I spoke with my mom on the phone this morning and the news is that there is still blood in her urine.

The vet said to give the antibotics at least 5 days to do their work so we'll have to wait and see. In the meantime she's eating and drinking well, so that's a good sign!

My request for vibes is now turning into a prayer request as well

I recieved a phone call from my dad this afternoon telling me that Simmie is not doing well. She isn't eating anymore (still drinking) so my mom is force feeding her. For a cat of her age this is a very bad sign.

If you could spare a prayer for her or a good thought it would be greatly appreciated.

Oh I am so sorry to hear this. Yes, I will pray for her and you and your family tonight. She is your good little friend of so very many years....this is always so tough.

She must have had excellent care through her long life to bring her to this age. So many kitties don't.

Be strong and know we are all here for you. But for the grace of God go I. Please keep us posted as you find the time.
