Coffee and dogs?

Hi, so i was outside drinking coffee, filter, realised i had left the hose on so i put my cup down and when i came back , it was totally finished and my jack russell Daisy was just staring at me looking guilty.There is no ways it was Fudge, the boxer because her nose is way too big to fit in there.

So my question is, is it ok for her to have drunk it? It was too late to phone our vet to ask her.

Caffeine is not good for dogs and a JRT is a small dog. It goes by body weight, the bigger the dog, the more they can tolerate.

hi, Daisy was totally fine, running around as normal. phoned the vet the next morning and she said i must just watch her and see if she carries on as normal . her tummy was a bit runny but not diarreah. needlesss to say, i wont be leaving my cups on the floor any more!xx

Yeah caffeine is not good for dogs, especially chocolate. Glad your pup is okay.
