trip to my nana's house

Hi, I just had a fun day. I went to visit my grandparents in Columbia, Mo. today. I met my mom there and we all went out to lunch and gabbed..but the best part is that I got to meet her new dog Biscuit. They got her from a puppy mill. The poor thing is only six years old and has had numerous liters of puppies. The breeders just kept bredding her and fed her but gave her no love. When they were done with her, I know isn't this awful, a no kill shelter called Second Chances took her in and my grandparents adopted her. She does well considering all she's been through. She doesn't trust humans very much, but she follows my nana around everywhere. She finally started warming up to me after about two hours. She's a Pekamese(I know my spellings off), she's the cutest thing. All in all, very good Saturday...

oh that's wonderful! Not about the puppymill - that's horrible, but it's good that she's got a good home now.

That's great that your Nana rescued a Puppy Mill dog! My Granny did that too a couple of years ago and she rescued a Pekegnese too! Her name is Sweet Pea and she's just the cutest little turd! Onery as hell, but adorable as all get out. I've attached a photo of her from her first Halloween. Granny bought a goofy Pumpkin outfit for her and they went Trick or Treating at my house!



BTW, glad you had such a great time! Isn't it great to just get away even if it's just for a few hours?

What a cutie..Biscuit is blonde but her atttitude sounds very similar to your Grannys's doggie. She's very stubborn and onery as all hell as well!
