I don't know if I have anything specific other then what I want every day, which is find a better life for both Maia and I......I have conquered some of the most difficult resolutions over the years by not making them new year resolutions
!
I do have specific goals and greater expectations for myself over the next year, that's enough for me!

Who has some specific resolutions or couldn't be bothered?

Hmm I have a lot of goals, not necessarily resolutions, but here are just a few
  • go to the gym a lot and get more fit
  • study for the LSAT, get accepted to a good graduate school
  • get an internship or gain some work experience of some sort
of course another goal is to enjoy myself no matter what I do, and be positive and optimistic about the world, to laugh a lot, be happy and always leave some time to "play" with my hobbies and fun activities..

I don't do resolutions.... never followed thru with one yet

I do have some goals though.

- work on my weight
- improve my emotional health

No outright goals to speak of, but I'm always trying to enjoy a healthier lifestyle. So I guess I'm looking to find exercises that are more fun to do, eat a healthier diet (we eat fairly heathy now, but there's always room for improvement), and try to do a better job of maintaining my weight.

(And if a Maine Coon shelter kitten would happen to find his or her way into our home, it wouldn't be a bad thing.

This will be an interesting New Year for me, as I'm retiring from a 30 year career in IT on 12/31. So my resolution is to start life fresh. I don't know what that means yet.

I know that most resolutions are about giving up stuff but I feel like I have given up so much this year I am not sure if I can give up anymore..

I quit smoking, stopped drinking and I haven't had any caffine in MONTHS.

I think my goal for 2010 is to get back out on my own and quit burdening my grandparents.

I hadn't even thought about making a New Year's resolution yet. I always make one but forget about it a week later.
If I make one, I think it would be to follow my instinct and not let people talk me into things I don't agree with. I didn't realize until last month that I sometimes let people talk me into things. Now I'm upset about it.

It's not really a New Years resolution but I want to start working out and losing weight. I'm starting in January because the holiday food is just way too tempting!

I have the most common New Year's resolution: lose weight. I tell myself I'm going to lose weight all the time but it never happens. Food tastes too great.

My resolution has already been decided. I am going to take better care of myself physically and psychologically. I am going to eat right and exercise for the physical portion, and for the psychological portion I'm going to not be so hard on myself and make a effort to avoid people that are abusive even in the slightest bit. I'm too good to people who don't deserve it and not good enough to myself. I need to reverse that.
