So Cody just left for his first day of work. It's 2:48 in the morning. For some reason they like to call my phone when they put him on alert and even when they call him in. I can't figure out why except maybe because my phone has a 734 area code and his is 360 which they might find weird.

Anyways, they called me about 20 minutes ago saying that they needed him to come in, and what luck...when I handed the phone off to Cody the call got dropped!! I now regret going with T-Mobile...I hate that they lied to me about their coverage. I will probably be going in there to complain sometime soon about how their "coverage" is affecting my ability to find work.

Thank GOD Cody was able to call back because according to their first meeting you're not supposed to call back and you only get one chance to get work. It's an on-call thing during the winter in case they need to shovel the front walks of businesses and lay salts so that customer's don't slip.

I am extremely worried about him driving in this weather, but not so much worried about the cold as I found all of his winter gear last night and bundled him up good. Thermals, pants, shirt, ski-jacket, ski-gloves, boots and 2 hats. rofl... Did I do a good job?

I am hoping and wishing for his safe return sometime today and I hope that he can handle the job well. Shoveling snow will be so much easier than carting around 80 pound tree logs, so I am less worried about this job than the last one. -.-

Anyways...I'm sorry for taking up a thread with my silly worries... I am thankful that he got called for work.
Maybe this is the first step towards turning or lives back around!

I'd be worried too.... but you're not strangers to snow up there! I'm sure he was fine - right? Hope all went well!
